Trapart Film is owned and run by Swedish writer/director Carl Abrahamsson.

Starting out as an experimental filmmaker and attending the renowned Stockholms Filmskola/Nya Filmskolan in the late 1980s, Abrahamsson drifted into writing and publishing instead of pursuing a career in film. In the early 2010s the desire to make films resurfaced, and work began on the artist portrait series An Art Apart, together with editor Henrik Møll (1960-2014).

Abrahamsson’s films have been shown internationally at independent cinemas, film festivals and on Swedish TV. Most of them are available on DVD via Swedish company Njutafilms. They are also available on VOD via VIMEO.
